Hina Ahmed writes fiction and nonfiction informed by frameworks of transnational American studies within the contemporary novel. She is currently a PhD student in Literature and Creative Writing and graduate research assistant in the Department of English at The University of Kansas in Lawrence. She has an MFA in Creative Writing (Fiction) from Regis University’s Mile-High MFA Program, an MA in Teaching (Social Studies) from Binghamton University, and a BA in History and Middle Eastern Studies from Binghamton University. She has spent over a decade teaching a variety of different age groups in both the public and private sectors. She has published work through Red Hen Press, Fem Asia Magazine, Archer Magazine, Aftab Magazine, Adelaide Magazine, and Eastlit Magazine, among others.
